HITECH was established in the year 1984. The beginning of 1980’s witnessed the setting up of a number of manufacturing industries for hydraulically operated machinery and equipment such as Machine Tools, Load-Handling Equipment, Special Purpose Motor Vehicles, High Access Platforms, Mobile Cranes, Step-Ladders, Luggage Conveyers, Food Hi-lifts etc. for airlines, etc. Consequently a huge and growing demand for hydraulic components was created. However, there were only a handful of manufacturers of hydraulic components and these too were manufacturing only the basic components, the sophisticated ones were being imported. Thus, there was a wide gap in the indigenous production and demand of hydraulic components. Hence, the choice of hydraulic components by HITECH for its manufacturing activity.

Over the last decade and half more and more diverse items (in hydraulic engineering) were identified for manufacturing and separate sister- concerns were set up.

HITECH wide range covers, besides Direction Control, Relief, Check and Flow Control valves, Special Purpose valves such as Flow Regulator/Control valves, Un-loading Relief valves, Throttle valves, Back Pressure valves, their latest and most important development is Proportional Pressure Control valves.

HITECH valves are used as original components by renowned manufacturers of Injection Moulding Machines, Hydraulic presses, Pressure Die casting machines and manufacturers of Mobile Equipment such as Truck Mounted Cranes, High Access Platforms, and Ground Support Equipment for Aircrafts such as Flight Kitchens, Passenger Steps, and Baggage Carriers etc.
